Fish were collected over the period from five regional sites on Southern Indian Lake and from Issett Lake to examine the effects of impoundment and river diversion on muscle mercury concentrations. Species sampled for mercury analy- sis were lake whitefish, northern pike, walleye, cisco, longnose sucker and burbot.
